Why do you have this website?

Please note that I’m still fleshing this page out. At the moment it is what it is.

I have struggled for a long time with this domain; what to put on it and what to write? For a profession I work on the web doing all sorts of website related designing, programming, advising and nitty-gritty things that involve CRMs, CMSes, DBs and other acronyms. So it makes sense to have a website to hi-light those services; fortunately I have never really needed to market my services online ¹.

The main reason I set up the site in its current guise will be to write, to learn and in some cases share. I also think that having a personal website with your writing, thoughts and ideas provides a great interface for the people around you to really get to know what you are thinking about. My wife encourages me to write and I hope that some day my son will have a good laugh reading my website (or whatever format it is in when he’s old enough to read it).
