Specificity comes with a cost, and I’ve reached the point, after ~3 years of sharpening myself for ultrarunning, where I need to get back to general basics. I can no longer lift a 2x bw deadlift or squat, but I can run for hours. It is time to bring my focus back to the former before doing any more of the latter.
I have given myself a hiatus from running until the summer. Off to the gym I go, there is finally CrossFit in San Vicente, with some mountains intermingled.
As for this blog, for the moment it will also rest. Have a great 2013!
